If the day and our schedules allow us, we love shooting weddings together. We both have hundreds of weddings under our belts and have shot weddings together many many times. The beauty of hiring us both is that you are getting two fully trained lead photographers capturing your wedding day - versus a lead and associate. We consider ourselves a team - but as life would have it, we, unfortunately, can't always shoot every wedding together.

We love working with couples who believe that photography is more than just an item on their wedding day checklist. If you are fueled by adventure, laughter, having fun, following your own path down a windy dirt road and aren’t afraid to get a little messy every now and then, reach out and say hi!

We don’t know a lot of people who feel overly comfortable having their photos taken – ourselves included. Our approach is to be present and friendly, but not overbearing. We like to help you pose, but in a way that compliments the natural way you interact as a couple. Often times you’ll be posing how we want without even realizing it! This makes for a very easy and fun experience in front of the camera.

We understand that photography is an investment, and we believe that it is well worth it. Typically our couples invest anywhere from $3,500-10,000 dollars depending on how many photographers they would like and add ons.

Engagement sessions are not included in our packages. Over the years we've found offering engagement sessions as an a la carte service works best for us and our clients!

That is completely up to you and your budget! I would say ~60% of clients do book engagement sessions. It is a great opportunity for us to get to know eachother and shoot in an alternate location with a different aesthetic than your wedding. We see this as a trial run for the big day! In what ways do you like to interact, whose camera shy? Whose not? We want to make images that reflect who you are as a couple and this portrait shoot will help us get there.

Yes! Film photography can be added on to any package for a $500 fee which includes 5 rolls of 35mm film, processing, developing and scanning! *Please note you will not receive the physical negatives and will receive scans of the negatives as your final product*

Lots! On average you can expect to receive between 50 – 100 images per hour that we are with you. For example, on an 8 hour wedding day you can expect between 400 – 800 images in your final delivery. Full wedding galleries are typically available 8-12 weeks after the wedding date! Please allow time during the height of the wedding season as we are shooting and editing a ton!

Absolutely. We believe that your photos are made to be more than just Instagram squares (although we love those too!) Your photos are meant to tell a story. What better way than to have them in a book that can be passed down for generations to come.

Unfortunately, no. Our work is hugely dependent on what we choose to show. Part of what you’re hiring us for is our eye and decision making in what photos create the story of your day.

Of course! We shoot everything digitally and deliver both social media ready files meant for sharing and print-ready files, which can be sized up to an 11×14 and printed at your discretion. Anything larger requires more attention to detail and a personalized printing process. Your online gallery makes it easy for you, friends and family to order albums, large prints and more!
